ORLANDO (November 09, 2005) - Bombardier Aerospace has selected the Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics and Airshow 21 cabin electronic systems for installation
on its new widebody Challenger 605* business jet, scheduled to begin deliveries in mid-2007.
"Rockwell Collins' proven solutions for the flight deck and cabin will provide Bombardier Challenger 605 operators with integrated
systems that increase safety, efficiency and situational awareness, while offering passengers a state-of-the-art traveling
environment," said Denny Helgeson, vice-president and general manager, Business and Regional Systems for Rockwell Collins.

into intuitive, easy-to-interpret menu formats. The Pro Line 21 integrated avionics package for the Challenger 605 includes
four 10 x 12 LCD displays. Additional Rockwell Collins content includes Pro Line 21 Communication, Navigation and Surveillance
(CNS) radios and Rockwell Collins Integrated Flight Information Systems (IFIS). Standard equipment advanced features of Rockwell
Collins IFIS enable electronic charts, and optional graphical weather and enhanced maps overlays.
The Rockwell Collins Airshow 21 cabin electronics system will also be featured on the Challenger 605. The Ethernet-based Airshow
21 advanced system architecture supports a full suite of functions from entertainment and cabin controls to global office
connectivity. All cabin capabilities are controlled on-board with an innovative, full function graphical user interface (GUI)
also designed by Rockwell Collins. The cabin electronics system will also drive a co-pilot side display, which provides a
second copy of electronic chart to enable "paperless" operations, as well as providing cabin system annunciations and backup
galley control for the cabin system. Optional features for the side display include printing ability.
As installed on the Bombardier Challenger 605, the Airshow 21 system's entertainment features will allow passengers to select
and control multiple sources, including baseline and dual DVD/CD player along with optional equipment such as a multi-disc
CD player, second dual DVD/CD player and satellite TV. The system also supports advanced capabilities such as audio/video-on-demand.
The Airshow 21 system will allow passengers and crew to manage the environmental systems of the aircraft in the cabin, galley
and lavatory, including multiple zones temperature controls, optional color-LED cabin lighting, as well as water and waste
systems.
