Scott R. Gunnufson is vice president and general manager, Service Solutions for Rockwell Collins. In this role, Gunnufson is responsible for sales and profit as well as leadership and strategic direction for the company’s global service functions within the International and Service Solutions division. These functions include: Service Operations, Global Material Management, Rockwell Collins Customer Response Center, Integrated Logistics, and Service Programs and Proposals. He was named to this position in July 2010.
In 2006, Gunnufson was named the vice president of Marketing and Strategy for the Service Solutions and the Simulation and Training businesses. In this position, Gunnufson was responsible for business strategic planning, product development, mergers, alliances, acquisition and marketing.
In 2001, he was named vice president, Business Operations for Rockwell Collins Services. He was responsible for sales, marketing, proposal development and programs for the services business.
Prior to accepting that position, Gunnufson was director, Customer Programs, within Services. He was responsible for ensuring that customer requirements and expectations were met or exceeded through the execution of service support programs, and value-added proposal solutions. Prior to joining Rockwell Collins, Gunnufson worked at Northwest Airlines as business unit manager of avionics and maintenance contracts.
Gunnufson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Mankato State, and a Master of Business Administration in Operations Management from the University of Minnesota.
